Update jam py and application

For now, when new versions of JAM.py come out, I download the package and manually copy the files.
But now there are also new flags (e.g., the SQL log).
What is the best way to update Jam.py?

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of work around the framework, there are many new features.

How do I update the framework and application from version 7 to the newer version?

To update the framework?
pip install jam.py ?

For the application?
Export
install new JAM.PY
Import?

See: docs V7 and try: pip install --upgrade jam.py-v7
