Developing an Accounting system

Hi all,
as I understand, for any Accounting system,
the important part is Accumulating column (lets call it that).
The last item matches the Total:

However, here is a catch: the JavaScript solution works on the Client!
This means calculation on the browser, which is not great.
There is also a paging issue.

I think the better approach is the Server side:

Here it is a Server side accumulating field!
I'll test it and see how it goes.
