Hi Valter
Looks great, lots of work here. Do you plan to create PCBs?
I strongly suggest to post your project on jallist group, as well as jallib (jallist on yahoo will be better) as this group has very little traffic...
Get back to reading yourlinks.
Cheers
Seb
Hi, I just want to announce a little project I am working on (The idea is old, I post something about it 1 year ago in the JALLIB forum).
The name is Moleculine Project.
Basically a kind of mini-JALUINO with:
a) TinyBootloader Firmware
b) TinyBootUPloader PythonGUI (running on Raspberry PI)
c) JAL and JALLIB as the initial (or main) programming language
d) Direct wire connection from the RaspberryPI to the PIC mcu (no adapter needed)
Source codes, binaries (hex's), electronic scheme and samples available...
Here is the 8pins 12F1840, 7kbytes

Here is the 14pins 16F1825, 14kbytes

Here is the 20pins 16F1829, 14kbytes

What is the Moleculine Project - A little graphical style introduction
https://sites.google.com/site/psmoleculine/
There is a Revolution in Soft - Why create Moleculine Project
https://sites.google.com/site/3kindsofsoft/
Still as "beta and tests", something like a first prototype...
Current prototypes are working with a Raspberry PI, I now will be looking at (conventional) PC as the programmer also...
I did some samples:
i) blink led
ii) serial communication
iii) PWM
iv) adc
I hope to find help from you guys around JAL, JALLIB, etc, as the work progress...
My current inital target is for EDUCATION and training, then going further with the project exploring more possibities...
I will keep posting updates about future changes and progress...
Thanks a lot,
regards,
Valter Fukuoka

Valter, Sebastien,One project which I've had in mind for some time now is a Jaluino look/work-alike using the 27j53configured as a basic RTC for the Raspberry-pi. The board would be all through-hole components toallow for DIY assembly by beginners, with a range of other peripherals as options (for instance, anattached ds1820 temperature sensor) and with all of the pinouts available to allow for easy connectionto the ADC, PWM, etc. Using the Raspi combined with JAL seems like a good way of getting morepeople interested in the possibilities of interfacing to the real world with microcontrollers.Unfortunately, like so many others, I'm still waiting for RS to deliver the Raspi (Nagano wa inaka dayo!).Sebastien, you do a much better job of delivery than them... there's a new career waiting for youthere! :-)Valter, like Sebastien, I need to take a little more time to go through your info and see which directionyou're heading in. More later.-John-
