Ishtar performances and bellydance in Pittsburgh

Hello Ishtar fans and friends!
I am in the process of organizing a "notification only" Ishtar email list. I will be sending out about one or two emails a month concerning upcoming Ishtar shows and bellydancing in Pittsburgh. Don't forget, Ishtar goes on the road occasionally, so we might be coming to a town near you!

On Wednesday November 7, Ishtar will be playing at the open house for the Middle East Peace Foundation of Pittsburgh. The event starts at 6:30PM and will be held at The Unitarian Universalist Church in Shadyside, 605 Morewood Ave. This is a free event and there will be snacks! www.mepfp.org
Saturday November 10, Ishtar shares the bill with Ana-Vey and Olivia of Zafira Dance at Your Inner Vagabond. Show starts at 8PM. In Lawrenceville at 4130 Butler St, 15201. Cover is $10.00, sumptuous snacks are included! BYOB event. Ana-Vey is described as gypsy trip hop, while Zafira Dance was awarded Troupe of the Year by Zaghareet Magazine.
Mark your calendars; Ishtar is opening for Raquy and the Cavemen on November 23 at Your Inner Vagabond and opening for Polka Freakout on November 28 at the 31st Street Pub!

December 7 – Khalil’s – Ishtar with special guest Carmine Guida
December 8 – Jalsah Pittsburgh VI – Your Inner Vagabond
