happening on April 27 at 8:30 PM at the Zenith. (86 South 26th St
15203 - Southside) We have two special guest musicians this time,
Umut Yasmut from Istanbul on kanun and Carmine Guida from NYC on oud.

Big bellydance show on April 28 with Ishtar and friends at Khalil's -
4757 Baum Blvd 15213. Ishtar will be joined by Carmine and Umut and
our featured dancers are Kristina Melike of NYC, Zafira Dance and

Workshops workshops workshops!
Carmine will be teaching TWO drum workshops on Saturday April 28
staring at 1PM. Foundations of Middle Eastern Drumming and Playing
Interesting Drum Solos for Dancers. Pre-reg price for each class is
$17.00 or both for $30.00. At the door, the individual classes are

Kristina Melike will be teaching Turkish Oriental Style Bellydance on
Sunday April 29 at 2 PM. She has studied Turkish Romany dance
extensively with Tayyar Akdeniz; she is now among the foremost
performers of this style in the US. Kristina will cover basic Turkish
Romany dance steps, as well as Turkish Bellydance technique. Learn
how to dance to Turkish Bellydance music in a more authentic fashion!
Pre-reg price for Kristina's class is $30.00, or $35.00 at the door.
