On June 7, Mark and Melissa of Ishtar and Nick Ragheb will be teaching drum and music workshops at Your Inner Vagabond prior to Jalsah Pittsburgh VIII!

Mark will teach beginner darbuka, a class perfect for dancers and darbuka novices to understand basic rhythms. 3-4PM $15

Nick Ragheb, recently returned from music studies in Istanbul, will teach intermediate and advanced darbuka and bendir (frame drum) technique. 4-5pm $15 (cash and check only) www.nickragheb.com

Melissa Murphey will conduct the workshop: Middle Eastern Music Ensemble for ALL Instruments. Sheet music will be available to borrow or to purchase. All drummers and melody musicians regardless of instrument are welcome to attend. 5:30-7PM $15
