Here are some exciting bellydance events to kick off your fall!
On Thursday September 13, check out Ishtar with special guests Carmine Guida on oud and Dale Langdon on percussion at Khalil's Restaurant. (4757 Baum Blvd 15213) Our dancers for the evening are Kari and Berna! Admission is $12 and the music starts at 8PM! There will be room for dancing!
On Friday September 14, Jalsah Pittsburgh V (www.jalsah.org) sit in with Ishtar and our friends to make bellydance music at the Zenith! (86 South 26th St 15203) The Jalsah is an open party for everyone to participate. Bring any instrument you have, bring a drum, bring egg beaters, bring a hipscarf and let's raq out in DaBurgh. The dance floor is open all night!! Limited sheet music will be available, visit www.dorku.com for complete sheet music. All ages, BYOB, cover is $7.00. (PS It is my brother's birthday, we all have to sing.)
On Saturday September 15, Bellydance show at the Altar Bar. (1602 Penn Ave 15222) Ishtar with Carmine and Dale raq the Altar Bar for Amethyst, Deniz and several talented bellydancers from Ohio to Massachusetts!
