I'm a developer, but I've never used the code repository here.  How do I go about making changes?  I have a change to make to one of the library files and I may have some example programs to upload.

Hello Mike,
Great! You're welcome!
The wikis which you can find at the Jallib homepage can teach to how to
use SubVersion (SVN), how to format your programs and how to use the
tools - in particular Jalapi - to check if your code obeys to our standards.

If you are unsure about your contributions you might make these subject
of discussion here. It is better to know on beforehand if there could be
conflicts with the current libraries or other issues/objections.

Before you can commit anything you'll need to be authorised. I (or Seb
or Joep) will do that when you are ready for it.

Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob,

Thanks.  First up is a minor change to ds18b20.jal, which I've already tested.  I also installed Subversion (SVN for Windows).  The jallib wiki page for SVN mentions generating a password via the Source tab, but I don't see anything about it on that page.

Hi Mike,

On the souce tab, choose 'checkout' (left, on the second row from the top). On thar page, you have a link in the section 'command line access'.

Forgot to mention that you need to have a Google account. Team members
are added by their E-mail address corresponding to a Google account.

Hi Mike,

Yes, just drop me the email matching a google account, in a PM. I'll add you as a committer. Or should i use upand_... ?

Cheers
Seb

That's odd, I didn't realize my yahoo account was showing up. I'm actually logged in with my gmail account.  I'll email Seb, thanks.

When I execute the checkout command as indicated on the "Source" tab of the jallib project it doesn't prompt me for my googlecode password like it says it should.  Did I miss something?

Hi Mike,

IIRC you'll be prompted your password with committing. I guess this is fixed now, since you fixed several things ?

Cheers,
Seb

I think a checkout doesn't require a password, but commit and other
operations which may cause changes do.

Yes, I think I have the hang of it now.
