Hi all,
My ICD2 stopped working, thanks to Windows 11 ....
Fortunately, I have other programmers at hand, including a PicKit3, PicKit4 , and a TL866 Minipro.

I wonder if someone knows a way to use the Minipro TL866 from a command line.   This would allow to program a chip directly from JalEdit.
I found such a tool online, but it is limited to Linux

I prefer to use MiniPro TL866 whenever possible, but if someone knows of a way to do the same with a PicKit 3 or PicKit 4, that would be great also !

Thanks a lot

OMG !

Responding to myself: Search the group before posting a dumb question ;-))))

Anyway, if someone knows the way for Minipro, I'd take it !

The PICKitPlus (pay) and PICKitMinus (free) projects allow using a PK2 (and I think PK3?) to program newer PIC's.  If that's what you're asking?

Regards,
Mike

Please pay for PICKITPLUS. We develop the solution and others copy our good works.

We provide support and maintenance.

I do not have the need for a new programmer (yet).
I only wondered if there was a way to use the Minipro TL866 with a command line interface, allowing thus to integrate and access it into JalEdit.

However, I will have a look to PicKitPlus and PicKitMinus by curiosity.   Thanks for the tip !

We are just about to release a Pi PIC programmers and an Android PIC programmer (for those who had a need to program offsite).

We needs revenue to keep going. No revenue no project.

And you took the good work that Microchip did, which they made available to the public for free.  :)

They made us Microchip Software Partners in 2021 for our good work.  They now provide direct support and are very helpful.

We offered the complete project back to them in May.  They are still focused on Java.  So, we will try to fund via the revenue.

Re the Microchip code. We have now doubled the code base from what they made public in 2012.

It is a lot of work. And, some fun.

I develop and maintain Great Cow BASIC... that is free but the costs to maintain are rising and rising. Hosting, certs, domains, licenses apps.. I ask for donation every year.

Nothing is free.

Cheers.  We worked to create the database and manage the database. We needs revenue to keep the project running.

I ask that folks use PICKitPlus to keep us going.
