Jaledit 0.6.0.1 looks good. It saves new files.
However:
- canceling from tools/editor preferences took 5 seconds on a pentium4
at 3Ghz, I'm sure Sunish you have something there in the code...

best luck,
Vasile

On my core 2 duo, 2Ghz it hardly takes 2 seconds. All the setting are reloaded and saved if cancel is pressed and that could be the reason for the delay. Also code completion list (invoked by Ctrl-Space) and auto correct list are also saved.

The other option is to just reload the changed setting. Hope its not an issue as the editor preferences is not frequently changed.

Indeed, no essential problem.

Be a little patient Sunish. It crashes several times on the computer at work. I'll try to give you complete details soon. It hangs in the window reporting compilation success.

At home crashed if read file A from USB, copy something from A into a file B from drive C, then close the file A. At the first tentative to save file B to computer it tries to save file A, but because it does not find it reports "error file A not found".

I thought the latest version had crash reporting enabled. Looks like its not enabled or you would be able to send the report directly.

It also crashed several times on me but it was not a repeatable issue.
Only once did the error report screen come up but I clicked cancel
because I did not realize until after I clicked it that it was for
JALedit since I had clicked over to another program and was saving a
file in it when the box popped up. I will tell you that all of them
but that one were control+alt+delete to close them out in WindowsME.
I did notice that sometimes the font will change about halfway down a
file and when that happens you can no longer enter text but you can
save and close the file.

Hi Mike, nice to see you back.

The font error appears in jaledit 0610 ? Asking because it was an earlier bug.

Vasile

Mike have you come across any reproducible bug after your initial tests ?

Have you tried setting the focus by clicking the edit window or refreshing by pressing F5 while the font bug occured ?
