Hi,
Does Jaledit have a plugin architecture ?
Can I develop a plugin, honoring a specific Jaledit API interface, and enrich Jaledit with functionalities ?

Nope. There's a plugin component, which if installed could give the functionality. But without platform independence what's the use.
