Title: MicroStrategy Web Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
• Develop, support, maintain, enhance, and test the Business Intelligence,
Metrics, and Performance Management Systems.
• Participate in design, development, and deployment of complex applications
often using one or combination of Oracle, SQL Server, Microstrategy, SSIS,
.NET including C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Duties will include all phases of application development following System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in the Data Warehouse, Analytics, or Business
Intelligence space.
• Primarily responsible for developing dynamic dashboards and scorecards in
Microstrategy with or without customizations.
• Fine tune the Microstrategy application implementing best practices.
• Works under limited supervision to analyze and solve complex operational,
systems-related issues.
Requirements:
• Atleast 5 years of relative experience.
• Previous application development in SQL Server and .NET.
• Must know SQL and other data mining methods. Expert in reporting systems
such as MicroStrategy and Crystal Reports.
• Knowledge of ETL systems such as SSIS. Informatica, and such. Strong
Access, Excel, and VBA (Excel Macros) skills.
• Must be able to work under limited direction on various tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
Projects Required:
• Create Interactive web-based dashboards with drill-down and drill-up
capabilities, graphs, gauges, widgets, thresholds, etc. using Microstrategy
Report Services OR build a custom web-based solution to deliver the same.
• Upgrade Microstrategy environment to version 9.2 along with the excel
macro customizations
