·         Overall IT experience of over 7 years of which alteast 3 - 4 years hands-on admin experience in Microstrategy 9 or higher, Knowledge / Experience on enterprise portal integration, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by business users, alerts via mail, mobile based on pre-defined events
Experience in Microstrategy Administration Activity
Experience in Microstrategy Upgrade and migration
Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on meta data creation ,
creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support
Strong knowledge of quality processes (SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention
Comfortable to interact directly with clients

 

UNIX Administrator

·         Minimum 5 years relevant experience

·         Expert level experience in Solaris, Red Hat or other Linux Operating System

·         Expert knowledge of FTP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, LDAP

·         Storage management, including direct attached, NAS and SANs

·         Monitoring UNIX/LINUX system activity, processor, memory and disk utilization and conducting security auditing and assessment

·         Planning and implementing appropriate steps to maintain optimal performance, security and reliability of the UNIX/LINUX system environment

·         Sizing, installing, configuring and optimizing UNIX/LINUX environment for all enterprise applications

·         Monitoring and performing security and critical Operating System and other enterprise applications patches and upgrades

·         Assist in Installation and go live of application components

·         Change management

·         Create or upgrade environments

·         Project management skills

 

Project Manager (Unix)

 

Responsibilities Include

·         Identify business unit requirements, create project and process specifications, facilitate testing, coordinate with project teams and ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget

·         Identify process improvements and implement

·         Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery

·         Responsible for acting as the primary interface between a specific business/functional area and their IT partners.

·         Represent the organization as the principal customer contact for projects, light enhancements, and other change initiatives

·         Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines

·         Identify and resolve operational issues with business areas.

·         Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

·         Ability to work independently and effectively with staff at all levels and from multiple divisions.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

·         Proven ability to learn new business concepts supporting product and/or business process development.

·         Strong organization and presentation skills.

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

·         Good experience in Unix projects

·         At least 9+ years of experience in all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

·         At least 9+ years of experience in taking projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

·         At least 6+ years of experience in defining project scope and objectives.

·         PMP is a plus
