Role: Senior Software Engineer / Mainframe DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid, with one monthly onsite meeting in Reston, VA. Candidates must reside in the DMV and WV areas and be able to attend an on-site 2nd-round interview in Reston, VA.
Duration: 6-month contract

Summary: CareFirst is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/ Mainframe DevOps Engineer to support the migration of Mainframe-based ChangeMan ZMF to DevOps solutions in IDZEE (IBM Developer for z/OS Enterprise Edition), enabling tools such as BitBucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory. Some in-house expertise will be rolling off early next year.

• 5+ years’ experience in Mainframe development or administration
• Experience with ChangeMan ZMF build and release management solutions
• Experience with IDZEE DevOps suite solutions

Nice to have:

Migration experience from ChangeMan ZMF to IDZEE
