ण वि दुक्करं अकादुं पावदि पुरिसोतिदुल्लहं ठाणं।
सव्वत्थेसु सुणिज्जदि दुक्खेण विणा सुहं णत्थि॥

{नाऽपि दुष्करमकृत्वा प्राप्नोति पुरुषोऽतिदुर्लभं स्थानम्।
सर्वार्थेषु श्रूयते दुःखेन विना सुखं नास्ति॥}

[ṇa vi dukkaraṁ akāduṁ pāvadi purisō tidullahaṁ ṭhāṇaṁ.
savvatthēsu suṇijjadi dukkhēṇa viṇā suhaṁ ṇatthi..
]

Without practicing something difficult, a person cannot attain a very rare position. In all the disciplines, it is heard that there is no delight without sorrow.
