जिणपहसूरिविरचिउ महावीरचरिउ

The text - Mahāvīracariu was first appeared in the Journal of the Oriental Institute, Baroda in Vol. 24 (2500 years of Mahāvīra Nirvāṇa Special Issue). It was edited based on single palm-leaf manuscript at Khetarvasahi Pāṭaka Jaina Jñāna Bhaṇḍāra, Patan (Gujarat) by Ramaniklal M. Shah. This short text containing 24 verses is authored by Jinaprabhasūri who flourished around early 14th century C. E. He has authored Prākṛta works like Gautama Pṛcchā, Viveka Kulaka, etc., and Apabhraṃśa works like Jambūcarita, Mallinātha-Carita, Subhāṣitakulaka, etc.
The poet has skillfully weaved his name in verse 22 as the last word.
