शुद्धाशयः कुटिलतां न खलस्य वेत्ति शुद्धाशयत्वमखलस्य खलोऽपि नैव।
अज्ञानमूढहृदयः सुजनः खलो वा स्वात्मानुरूपमखिलं कलयत्यवश्यम्॥

[शुद्धाशयः। कुटिलताम्। न। खलस्य। वेत्ति। शुद्धाशयत्वम्। अखलस्य। खलः। अपि। नैव।
अज्ञान-मूढ-हृदयः। सुजनः। खलः। वा। स्वा-ऽऽत्मा-ऽनुरूपम्। अखिलम्। कलयति। अवश्यम्।]

{śuddhāśayaḥ kuṭilatāṃ na khalasya vetti śuddhāśayatvamakhalasya khalo'pi naiva.
ajñānamūḍhahṛdayaḥ sujanaḥ khalo vā svātmānurūpamakhilaṃ kalayatyavaśyam..
}

A person of pure heart is unaware of the deceitfulness of a wicked individual, just as a wicked person is oblivious to the purity of a virtuous one. Whether one is virtuous or wicked, when one's heart is stupefied by ignorance, they inevitably perceive everything resembling to themselves.
