पिसुणसुणयाण दोण्हं वि दीसइ लोयम्मि अंतरं गरुयं।
चिरपरिचिएसु न भसइ सुणओ पिसुणो पुणो भसइ॥१८

[पिशुन-शुनकानाम्। द्वयोः। अपि। दृश्यते। लोके। अन्तरम्। गुरुकम्।
चिर-परिचितेषु। न। भषति। शुनकः। पिशुनः। पुनः। भषति॥]

{pisuṇasuṇayāṇa dōṇhaṁ vi dīsa:i lōyammi aṁtaraṁ garuyaṁ.
cirapariciēsu na bhasa:i suṇaō pisuṇō puṇō bhasa:i..18
}

A stark contrast exists in this world between dogs and the wicked. Dogs refrain from barking in front of long familiar individuals, while the wicked tend to abuse them (familiar ones).
