सो च्चिय माया बप्पो सो चेव य बंधवो य मित्तो य।

जो धम्मं उवएसइ परलोयसुहावहं लोए॥2.46॥

{स एव माता पिता स चैव च बान्धवश्च मित्रं च।

यो धर्ममुपदिशति परलोकसुखावहं लोके॥}

[sō cciya māyā bappō sō cēva ya baṁdhavō ya mittō ya.
jō dhammaṁ uvaēsa:i paralōyasuhāvahaṁ lōē..2.46..]

Only the person who teaches the Dharma, which brings welfare in future lives, is a true mother, father, kinsman, or friend.
