आगन्तुकोऽनुरागं नेतुमविज्ञातदूषणः शक्यः।
विज्ञातदूषणः खलु जनस्तु न शक्यः सहवासी॥

[आगन्तुकः। अनुरागम्। नेतुम्। अविज्ञातदूषणः। शक्यः।
विज्ञातदूषणः। खलु। जनः। तु। न। शक्यः। सहसवासी॥]

{āgantuko'nurāgaṃ netumavijñātadūṣaṇaḥ śakyaḥ.
vijñātadūṣaṇaḥ khalu janastu na śakyaḥ sahavāsī..}

A stranger, whose faults are unknown, can be drawn towards affection. But someone, whose faults are already known, cannot be accepted even as fellow lodger (or neighbor).
