Hello everyone.... after lone time right??
 I heard this news from my grandma....
   A lady named    Padmabai bafna    -  aged   90+   in Kopargaon - near shirdi  has  Santhara  of 55 days ( till today )  and had 4 days upwas before taking Santhara........
              she is still continuing her santhara...
      Dhnyavad hai unko.....  i want to dedicate some lines to her....

       बड़ा कठिन है त्यागना रसना का स्वाद  |

Also i have heard (actually not only heard but also seen by my parents) there is one sadhu maharaj(forgot his name) who did 180 upvas together back to back .. ya its shocking and surprising but true. Dhanyavad for him. Tapasvi no jay jaykar.His parnu is done.

Also there is one more mumukshu(going to take Diksha) Kinjal Ben  from surat who is doing 180 Upvas.Dhanyavad. Tapasvi Amar raho. She has already done many other things as well like 108 upvas was done by her in past. Nearly 170 upvas of her might be completed by this time. Her parna is in Borivali Jambli Gali in Nishra of Gachadipati Shri Jaygosh Suri Shwarji Maharaj Saheb and many other Acharya Maharaj Saheb as well. She along with doing this did Palitana ni Jatra (my parents saw her there) --- imagine around 160 upvas(before around 10 days), doing jatra on own - no doli, coming down by 9 am after doing jatra-- see speed, then attending vargodo(a function which was there )... truly mind blowing..

Guys this 180 upvas is becoming after a very long time in history of atleast 1400 years and only 5th after mahavir swami bhagvan nirvan ( i might be wrong in exact statistics ). we really need to appreciate this.

The aim of Kinjal Ben behind doing this is that she wants there must be no ratri bhojan done in palitana.Lets take a oath that whenever in life we go to palitana , we shall not eat at night(do choviar) and pay a little tribute to her.please spread message among others as well.

Correction: There are people who have done more than 180 days upwas. I had gone for a parna of 205 upwas of sahajmuniji maharaj.

ok. thats great. i have not heard that. grr. actually i had seen in kankotri of that maharaj saheb that its only fifth time that ny1 is doing 180 upvas ( i might have not remembered exact figure). But nyway for me even 30 upvas (maskhaman) is miracle anything above that is truly un imaginable by me.dhanyavad to all this tapasvis.

Its too difficult. And so statistics doesnt even come into picture over these great things.

For me, 30 maskhaman is also difficult thing.

hi all. guys if we just say dhanya to tapasvi its not just quite enough. to pay tribute to her , take oath and declare that whenever in future i go to palitana , i will not do ratri bhojan.
it is for this reason that kinjal be is doing 180 upvas.
Updates: Function on 23,24,25 feb at borivali jambli gali. parnu on 25 feb,borivali.nearly 200 sadhus along with many acharya maharaj are expected. there will be many more sadhviji m.s.should go there if time permits.
