Fritz!Box devices with an integrated DSL modem come in three versions. The version for the German market uses an ISDN interface for voice. For the Austrian and Swiss markets the voice interface use traditional POTS and also has a German-language user interface. The international version has a multi-language web interface and provides support for POTS and usually ISDN for voice. While the international version supports both the most common ADSL Annex A POTS and ADSL Annex B ISDN, the German version offers hardware support for Annex B only, which is the sole standard used in Germany, with additional support for Annex J in newer models.
I have been living in germany for three years now, and one thing I always notice when I visit friends is that everyone has a fritzbox router. It doesn't matter with which ISP they are (t-mobile, vodafone, O2) the router is always a fritzbox.
With much better options available Best routers 2018 from much bigger brands, is there some kind of technical limitation that requires people to use the fritzbox? Or is it a case of everyone just renting a router from there provider and AVM (fritzbox manufacturer) has a monopoly on it?
Eliminate the need to run all new cables for RS-232 control of your Audio/Video system. RapidRun's new RS-232 Adapter gives you the flexibility to use existing 3.5mm stereo audio cables or DB9 cables to run 3 conductor RS-232 control signals between your control unit and your video display. This product can be used with all of the DB9 Break-Away Wall Plates and Flying Leads designed for the RapidRun system. RapidRun RS-232 Adapter Features: Supports transmission of serial control signals including RS-232. Fully molded DB9 and 3.5mm connectors provide excellent strain relief. Ideal for use with computers, projectors, and any control unit/display requiring 3 conductor RS-232 serial control. Note: Not all serial control methods are supported by this adapter. This product is intended only for use with 3-wire RS-232 control cables with common ground (pin 5), transmit data (pin 3), and receive data (pin 2). For the exact pinout of your audio/video equipment please contact the manufacturer.
I found a cable like this too, and finally figured it out that it came with my old late 1990s Olympus D-360L digital camera. It was used to transfer pictures to the computer (before card readers became common) and as I recall it would use a lot of battery transferring the pictures.
If however your broadband is provided over the analogue line then it gets more complex depending on how the services are contracted. If both via the same provider you could be asked to switch to a new service without analogue phone line. If seperate you need to contract a new broadband service wihtout the phone line - this is verylocaiton specific, you may be able to have fttc or even vdsl with no phone service. One common issue is that the new provider may not be able to order this as your lines are in use on another contract so it will have to be a move/migration.
Some providers will give you a phone service that works from a conneciton on their router (e.g. BT retail (home) broadband) and onlu their router, others more generic so you can use your own equipment.
Having already determined that the language in the Certificate is fairly susceptible to both plaintiffs' and defendant's interpretations, the Court must decide whether or not the copayment and the provider's reasonable charge are based upon the provider's charge without regard to the discounts. "Under federal common law, the court resolves ambiguity through traditional methods of contract interpretation." Tolley v. Commercial Life Ins. Co., 1993 WL 524284 at *6, 1993 U.S.App. LEXIS 33508, at *6 (6th Cir. Dec. 17, 1993). The rule of contra proferentum is one such method that is followed in every state as well as the District of Columbia. Id. at *7. Although the Sixth Circuit has concluded that any state rule of construction is preempted and not "saved" under ERISA, it stated that the rule of contra proferentum might be applicable as a "matter of federal law pursuant to the Congressional directive to form a `federal common law of rights and obligations under ERISA....'" Id. at *6-7 (finding it unnecessary to decide whether to apply the rule as no ambiguity was found).
Masella v. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Connecticut, Inc., 936 F.2d 98, 107 (2d Cir. 1991) quoted with approval in Phillips v. Lincoln National Life Ins. Co., 978 F.2d 302 (7th Cir.1992); see also Kunin, 910 F.2d at 540; Heasley v. Belden & Blake Corp., 2 F.3d 1249 (3rd Cir.1993). This Court agrees that it is appropriate to adopt the rule as a matter of federal common law.
Plaintiffs argue, however, that because private actions for common law fraud exist in addition to actions under 3901.21, a fraud-based RICO claim does not impair Ohio law.[4] However, common law fraud actions "do not reward plaintiffs with the treble damages, costs, and attorney fees mandated by RICO." Wexco, Inc. v. IMC, Inc., 820 F. Supp. 194, 204 (M.D.Pa.1993); Forsyth, 827 F. Supp. at 1521; see also LeDuc v. Kentucky Central Life Ins. Co., 814 F. Supp. 820, 829 (N.D.Cal. 1992). As the Wexco court explained:
Each of the APP service areas addresses specific components around which interface, data format, or protocol specifications have been or will be defined. Security and management services are common to all of the service areas and pervade these areas in one or more forms.
One of the most commonly used herbaceous plant species distributed around the world for the preparation of herbal teas peppermint [1, 2, 3, 4]. It typically is sold in loose form(leaf), or portioned, in bags. The present study proposes new form of peppermint tea, where the herb is subjected to the pressure agglomeration process. However, only few medicinal substances possess properties enabling their direct compaction. Yaman et al. [5] believe that the compaction pressure and other parameters of the process shall be selected depending on the compacted material. However, selection of the suitable pressure is not an easy task, as its values change depending on the properties of the processed material [6]. The compaction pressure is one of the most important factors determining obtaining of a product (pellet, blocks) with the desired quality [7]. Koutný et al. [8] state that the main parameters indicating the quality of products obtained through pressure agglomeration, is, above all, the density, as well as their mechanical strength.
The study of mechanical strength of compacted peppermint herb with the shape of straight cylinder included determination of tensile strength using Brazilian test method. In this method, a cylindrical sample is subjected to a compacting load along the diameter, thus the other name for the method is the disk test. Such types of load result in sample destruction when the tensile strength is exceeded, in the perpendicular direction to the plane of symmetry containing the direction of the load [10]. This method is commonly used to assess the mechanical properties of cylinder-shaped brittle blocks [11]. The obtained agglomerates were subjected to the disk test using a MTS Insight 2 test machine. The compaction process was conducted until cracks beginning in the central portion of the cylinder, spreading along the vertical axis became visible to the naked eye (Fig. 1).
