Other DBNs than HMMs?

How complicated would be to add functionality in JAHMM to learn more complex Dynamic Bayesian Networks than HMMs, e.g. an IOHMM, etc. Has anyone done this with JAHMM?

I don't know much about DBN, but my guess would be that JAHMM is not
the way to go. I haven't heard about anybody implementing this.
