Dear Jagoites,

Municipal Council of Delhi elections will be held in April 2012. The electoral roll updation process has started. Jago Party Delhi has started collecting names of candidates for Councillor elections in Delhi. Now, there will be three municipalities and total of 272 Councillor seats. Please suggest names of good honest candidates with integrity along with the ward for contesting. We hereby solicit candidates for MCD 2012 elections.

Expenditure limit for elections will be around Rs. 75,000 per ward. We suggest you spend only around Rs. 25,000-30,000. You can still win elections. To win, you have to campaign heavily door-to-door.

Please make members of Jago Party. You can use the attached form. Minimum membership fees is Rs. 100. For every 100 members made by the MCD 2012 elections candidate, Jago Party Delhi will spend Rs. 10,000 on the candidate’s election campagin.

Jago Party meeting is organized on Sunday, Oct 9, 2011 at 3:30 pm at Jantar Mantar. Everyone is requested to attend this meeting. Agenda is to discuss MCD 2012 elections. We will strategise and plan as to how we contest on all 272 seats.
