On Saturday, March 1st, the Weatherspoon Art Museum will host Family Day from 1-4pm. Students can enjoy art tours, story time and other activities in Spanish. The UNCG students in Spanish 321, who are interning at Jones Elementary this semester, will be on hand to read stories in Spanish and to guide your students through the museum. Last year, over 70 Jones families came out for the event. We hope we can have that turnout again this year.
Spanish immersion students of all ages, and their families, are invited to attend this event. The Weatherspoon Art Museum (http://weatherspoon.uncg.edu//) is located at the corner of Tate and Spring Garden Streets. The event is free and free parking is available behind the museum.
