Our immersion students' love of reading shows! The Jones BOB team came in second to the Lindley Elementary team at the GCS championship last Thursday. I think Lindley won by one point.

Jones alumni comprise the entire BOB team at Aycock this year, and they won the GCS championship on Friday of last week. Our alumni are: 8th grade - Grace Stafford, Madeleine Braye, Claire Hendrickson, Charlotte Fowler, Selena Drees, Jeremy Kelly, Ayashe Ramey, and Malena Martin; 7th grade - Allison Naude and Sydney Carter; 6th grade - Kara Anne Hardy and Troy Figueroa.

This is the third year in a row that Aycock's BOB team has won the GCS championship, and Grace, Maddie, Claire and Charlotte were members of the Jones team that won the elementary championship four years ago.

Way to go, immersion parents and students, and THANK YOU teachers for inspiring our kids to read!
