Dear Mr. Lindeman and Verified Voting

Re: your opposition to this bill.

I have enclosed some background information shared with LOTS of people in NH.

You don’t know much about NH election law or our constitution. We have a very strong “right to know” in NH.

You are aware of the overvoted ballot problem in 2020 in NH, not only in Windham. You are probably not aware that the AG refused to investigate, at my request. Available if you request.

NH had been violating federal HAVA law since Jan. 1, 2006 and I had asked VV before 2020 to encourage the SoS to comply with that law. You may not know that the violation was reported to the AG in Nov. 2017 and ignored, then reported to the USDOJ in May 2018, ALSO ignored. Available on request.

As I recall, you talked with Anthony Stevens, who KNEW the SoS and AG had told the federal government it would comply in order to receive some $21 million in federal funds. I believe THAT is called fraud. Reported to the Public Integrity Unit, which was ignored. Available on request.

We have no way to know how many elections might have been changed in NH since 2006. Verified Voting could have prevented what happened in 2020, a year that MANY in NH lost confidence in our elections.

Here’s an estimate of what the audit cost. Would you please send me a copy of what money you received from the town of Windham for YOUR services? A spokesperson for the AG’s office said Windham paid for your expenses.

I am enclosing a breakdown of the 3/4 million dollars the audit cost NH taxpayers.

I will share how much you received with other interested citizens.

Also, did you or your organization receive any financial or other benefit in exchange for your submitting opposition to this bill? If so, from whom? What was the benefit?

WHO exactly authorized you to speak for Verified Voting?

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Deborah Sumner

PS NH election officials volunteered to help with the audit. They receive no monetary compensation, but probably got some pizza.
