Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said to
Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (alayhi salām)
“O’Ali (alayhi salām), the people of Quraish tease me regarding Fatima (Salam ul Allāh alayha); they ask me to marry her with one from them. I refused them and married her with you. I told them it was not me that refused them it was Allāh (Subhanahu wa-ta'ala) that refused them. Jibrael (alayhi salām) came to me and said, “O’ Muhammad (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam)! If Ali (alayhi salām) was not there, then there would have been no kufv (equal) for your Daughter, Syeda (Salam ul Allāh alayha), upon this earth.”

1st Zilhajj – When Allāh replaced Abu Bakr with Ameerul Momineen (alayhi salām)
Allāh ordered the Holy Prophet (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) to recall Abu Bakr and replace him with Ameerul Momineen Ali Ibn Abi Talib (alayhi salām) for the propagation of Surah Barah (9) in the 9th Hijri.
