Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem


As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,



 Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said:
 
“The Almighty Allāh has created a house in Paradise as well as in Hell for each and every creature. When the people of Paradise and Hell go to their respective houses, a call will be given out: O people of Paradise! Look down. When the people look down they will see their houses in Hell. They will be told: You would have been given those had you disobeyed Allāh. The people of Paradise will die out of happiness for being saved. Then the people of Hell will be told: O people of Hell! Look above your heads. They will lift their heads and look above. They will be able to see their houses filled with bounties in Paradise. They will be told: You would have been given these had you followed the commands of Allāh. The people of Hell will die out of the grief. They will be given their respective houses which they deserved. This is the exegesis of the verse of Allāh, in which He says: These are they who are the heirs. Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein.” (Surah Mominoon 23:10-11)

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq  (alayhi salām) said:

"The breath of one who is aggrieved upon the injustice and oppression subjected to us, is tasbeeh (glorification of Allah), and his grief for us, is i'baadat (worship of Allah) and his concealing our secrets, is jihad in the path of Allah.."

The Imam (alayhi salām) then added: This tradition ought to be written in gold.

“Allāh will make you needless of the people if you prefer  Allāh's pleasure over the people's dissatisfaction. And  Allāh will leave you alone if you prefer the people's pleasure over  Allāh's dissatisfaction.”

 “Be thankful to whoever is kind to you, and be kind to whoever thanks you, since blessings last when you are thankful, and blessings vanish when you are ungrateful.”

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said:

"After business hours when you return home, why do you not recite a surah from the Holy Qur'an before going to bed?
Is there anything that stops you from reciting?
(Anyone who recites even one surah from the Holy Qur'an), will get ten good deeds in return of every verse he recites and ten bad deeds are erased from his book.”

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said:

 "You must maintain restraint from worldly attractions (sins), maintain persistence in work, attend funerals, and visit people during their illness. You should attend the Mosque with your own people, and love for people what you love for yourselves. Would it not be embarrassing for one of you to see that a neighbor recognizes your rights but you do not recognize the rights of your neighbor?"

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,


Muawiya Bin Amaar (Narrator) says: I asked Imām al-Sādiq (alayhi salām)

‘A man, a reporter of your Ahadeeth, disperses that to the people and strengthens the hearts of your Shias, and perhaps a worshipper from your Shias, who hasn’t this reporting for him. Which of the two is superior?’ 

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said:

‘A reporter of our Ahadeeth dispersing among the people and strengthening the hearts of our Shias is superior to a thousand worshippers’’.

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said:

 “Our followers will be tested in three situations: On how they guard their prayers; and on how they guard the secrets of our followers from our enemies; and on how they use their wealth and property to help their (religious) brethren.”.

Imām Muhammad  ibn ‘Alī al-Baqir (alayhi salām) said:  

‘Three things destroy a man:
1. considering his own deeds to be really great,
2. forgetting the sins that have been committed.
3. considering his own opinion to be the highest’’.

  It is narrated that  Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (alayhi salām), on the ninth of Dhu’l-Hijjah, heard someone begging people for financial aid.  

Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (alayhi salām)  said to him-

“Woe is you! On such a day, do you beg other than Almighty Allāh? On this day, even fetuses in wombs are expected to be included with the mercy of Almighty Allāh and they will be delighted.

“The similitude of the believers in accepting the guardianship of the Commander of the Believers (Ali [alayhi salām]) on the day of Ghadir Khum is that of the angels in prostrating before Adam [alayhi salām]  (i.e., submitting to him), and the similitude of those who turned away from the guardianship of the Commander of the Believers on the day of Ghadir is that of the devil (Iblis).”

“O abu al-Nu’man, do not allow people to deceive you about yourself; the matter will come to you and not to them. Do not spend your day in this and that; with you there is one who preserves your deeds for you. Do good deeds; I do not see anything of better result and remedy for the old sins then new good deeds.’”

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) narrates that:

A person came to the Messenger of Allāh (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) and said, “I have dedicated my one-third prayer for you.” The Holy Prophet (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said, “Goodness be for you.” The man said, “I have dedicated half of my prayer for you.” He replied, “You did a really good thing.” The man told him, “I have dedicated my whole prayer for you.” He replied, “ Allāh will fulfill all your desires of this world and the hereafter.” At that time, a person asked Imām Ja’far Sadiq (alayhi salām) , “May Allāh do good to you, how can a person dedicate his supplication to the Holy Prophet  (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam)?” Imām Ja’far Sadiq (alayhi salām) said, “Send salutation of Muhammad  (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) and his progeny before asking for anything from Allāh .”

“Do you want that I teach you a thing by which your face remains safe from the fire of Hell?” “Yes,” he replied. Imam said, “Recite: 
  اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ  
"Allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadinw wa aali muh’ammad" 
a hundred times after Morning Prayer so that the Almighty Allāh keeps your face safe from the fire of Hell.”

“One who keeps a believer happy, the Almighty Allāh will make that person happy on the Day of Judgment and he will be told to ask for whatever he wants as a reward of keeping the lovers of  Allāh happy in the world. Therefore He would give you whatever you desire and Allāh would bestow such bounties of Paradise as you have not even imagined.”.

  Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) said

‘“Whoever says, 
‘O Lord, grant favors to Muhammad and his family,

   وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ  رَبِّ صَلِّ عَـــلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ  يَـا

one hundred times, one hundred of his wishes will be granted, thirty of them in this world and the rest in the next life.’”

‘“The poor believing servant (of Allāh) says, ‘O Lord bestow upon me such and such so that I can do so and so good deeds. If Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, finds that his intention is true He will write down for him a reward (just for his intention) equal to the degree of good deeds had his intention materialized; Allah is vastly generous.’”

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,


Imām Muhammad  ibn ‘Alī al-Baqir (alayhi salām) said:  

"A person will remain in Hell for seventy Kharif and one Kharif is equal to seventy years. However if he says, ‘O Lord! Have mercy on me for the sake of Muhammad (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) and his progeny’ Allāh will order Jibraeel (alayhi salām) to go down and grant salvation to him. Jibraeel (alayhi salām) will ask, ‘How should I get down in fire?’ Allāh will say: I have ordered it to remain cool for you and you will not be harmed. Jibraeel (alayhi salām) will ask, ‘O Lord! Tell me where is that servant of Yours?’ Allah will say that he is in the well of Sijjil. Jibraeel (alayhi salām) will go there and remove him from fire. Allāh will ask, ‘O slave of Mine! For how long did you remain there?’ He will reply, ‘O Lord! It is not possible for me to estimate it’. Allāh will swear by His Honor and say: I would have kept you in Hell in the same state if you hadn’t prayed to Me in this way. I have made it obligatory for Myself to forgive any number of sins of one who supplicates in the name of Muhammad  (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) and his progeny just like I forgave you this day.”

To whoever trust is given he is given protection.’ Then He said, ‘Have you read in the book of Allāh, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, “Whoever places his trust in Allāh, He provides him sufficient protection.” (14:7) “If you be thankful We will increase the favor. Pray to Me, I will accept your prayer.(25:60)’”.’”

It contained amazing things and the most amazing one was what he said to his son, “My son, be pious before Allāh, the Majestic, the Glorious, such that even if you come into His presence with the good deeds of all man and Jinn, Thaqilayn, you will still fear His punishment. On the other hand your hope in Him must be so great that even if you come into His presence with all the sins of all man and Jinn, Thaqilayn, you will still be hopeful for His kindness and mercy.”’

'O my son, know the level of the Shias from the number of traditions they narrate and from (the level of) their recognition. For surely recognition is the comprehension of traditions. And by comprehending traditions, a believer scales the highest level of faith. Then surely I have seen the Book of Ali (alayhi salām) and I found in it that the value of a man is in proportion to the measure of his recognition.

 “One of the Israelites worshipped Allah for forty years. Then he made a sacrifice but it was not accepted. He said to himself that it must be his own fault. Allah, the Almighty revealed to him “Your blaming yourself was better than the forty years of worshipping.”".

  It is narrated that  Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (alayhi salām), on the ninth of Dhu’l-Hijjah, heard someone begging people for financial aid.  

Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (alayhi salām)  said to him-

“Woe is you! On such a day, do you beg other than Almighty Allāh? On this day, even fetuses in wombs are expected to be included with the mercy of Almighty Allāh and they will be delighted.

By Allāh, they will be with us on the Day of Judgment in our grade.'

"One who wants to meet the Almighty Allāh in a perfect condition of faith and good Islam should have the Wilayat of Hujjat, the Master of the Age, the Awaited one.

Thus the Imams   are the lamps of darkness and the Imams of guidance and the banners of piety; one who loves them and has their Wilayat; for him I guarantee that the Almighty Allah would admit him in Paradise."

Our heartiest greetings and felicitations to  Holy Prophet Mohammad (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎), Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), Hazrat Fāṭimah (عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام),   Ahl-e-Bait ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ), Imam-e-Zamana ( عَجَّلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فَرَجَهُ الشَّرِيفُ) & all lovers of Ahl-e-Bait ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ)   on this auspicious occasion of  Eid e Zehra (عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام)
9th -Rabi' al-awwal marks the day when our present Imam   ( عَجَّلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فَرَجَهُ الشَّرِيفُ)  assumed the position of Imamat in 260 AH and the perpetrators of Karbala got their just reward. It is one of the greatest days in the history of Islam and a Day of happiness and joy for the lovers of Ahlul Bayt  ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ) , which they mark by holding gatherings/Jashan and thanking Allah ( سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى )  for His bounties!!!


Holy Prophet Muhammad  al Mustafā (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎) said:

“Blessed be those who are fortunate to live in the time of Qaim of my Ahle Bayt  ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ). Those who will believe in him during his occultation and before his advent who will love his friends and remain aloof from his enemies. Such people will be my closest ones and my friends on the Day of Judgment.”

Imām Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام ) said:  

"The sons of the killer of Imam Husain (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام ) are satisfied with the deeds of their forefather. Anyone who is either satisfied or dis satisfied with any actions is included in the performance of that action. Even if a person is killed in the east and another person who live in west is happy with his killing, then that person is included in his  killing” .

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq  (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

One who doubts regarding the disbelief of our enemies and of those who oppressed us  is himself a disbeliever.

Some Recommended Actions/ Aamaal of this day are:
* Dress in new and fine apparel,  
* Perfume oneself,
 * Throw feast for Momineen (believers), 
* Make Momineen happy, 
* Greet each other, 
* Recite Ziarat Imam-e-Zamana (A.S.), 
*Recite Dua Saname Quraish


يا مَوْلايَ يا صاحِبَ الزَّمانِ صَلَواتُ اللهِ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلى آلِ بَيْتِكَ هذا يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ الْمُتَوَقَّعُ فيهِ ظُهُورُكَ وَالْفَرَجُ فيهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنينَ عَلى يَدَيْكَ وَقَتْلُ الْكافِرينَ بِسَيْفِكَ

‘I saw my father in a dream, saying, ‘Son, whenever you are in hardship, say abundantly, ‘O Kind! O Merciful!’ (Ya Ra’ufu Ya Rahim) Indeed, what you see in a dream is the same as what you see when you are awake.’"

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,


Zayyan bin Salt says: I asked ar- Reza (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)  “Are you the Sahibul Amr (Master of Affair)? He replied:

Imām Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:  

 I am also Sahibul Amr but not the Sahibul Amr who will fill the earth with justice as it would have been fraught with tyranny and oppression. And how can I be that person? While you can see that I am physically weak. Whereas the Qaim is the one who at the time of his reappearance will be senior in age but have the appearance of the youth.

His body shall be so strong that if he catches hold of the biggest tree of the earth he shall be able to uproot it and if he shouts between the mountains, their stones will roll down. The staff of Prophet Musa (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) and the seal ring of Prophet Sulaiman (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) are with him. He is my fourth descendent. The Almighty Allāh will keep him in occultation as long as Divine wisdom dictates. Then He will reveal him so that he may fill the earth with justice and equity just as it would fraught with injustice and oppression.”

Imām Hussain ibn ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib  (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:  

“From us there are twelve Mahdis, the first of whom is Amirul Momineen Ali Ibne Abi Talib (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) and the last of whom is my ninth descendant. And he is truly the Imam al-Qaim.  Allāh will enliven the earth after its death through him. And through him triumph His religion over all the religions even if the polytheists may dislike this. There will be occultation for him during which communities will apostize but others will remain steadfast on religion. They will be tortured and told: If you are true when will this promise be fulfilled? Know that one who observes patience during those tribulations will be like one who fights the holy war under the command of the Messenger of Allāh  (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎)   .”

  It is narrated that  Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), on the ninth of Dhu’l-Hijjah, heard someone begging people for financial aid.

Imām `Alī ibn Husayn (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said to him-

“Woe is you! On such a day, do you beg other than Almighty Allāh? On this day, even fetuses in wombs are expected to be included with the mercy of Almighty Allāh and they will be delighted.

:عَنِ اَلرَّيَّانِ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ عَنِ اَلرِّضَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ قَالَ
 يَا اِبْنَ شَبِيبٍ إِنْ سَرَّكَ أَنْ تَسْكُنَ اَلْغُرَفَ اَلْمَبْنِيَّةَ فِي اَلْجَنَّةِ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ فَالْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ يَا اِبْنَ شَبِيبٍ إِنْ سَرَّكَ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَكَ مِنَ اَلثَّوَابِ مِثْلُ مَا لِمَنِ اُسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فَقُلْ مَتَى مَا ذَكَرْتَهُ - يٰا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً

Imām Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:  

‘ O Ibn Shabīb! If it pleases you to reside in the lofty chambers built in Paradise alongside the Prophet and his family (عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ), then invoke Allāh’s curse upon the killers of al-Hussain (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام).

O Ibn Shabīb! If it pleases you to have a reward equal to that of the one who was martyred alongside al-Husayn (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), then whenever you remember him, say:
يٰا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً
"I wish I had been with them, so that I would have achieved a great success."

اللّهُمَّ العَن قَتَلَةَ الحُسَین (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)

Note: We recite these Zikr on behalf of our Master, Imam  Sahib al-Zamān (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), and dedicate the reward to the captives and martyrs of Karbalā.

:عَنْ أَمِيرِ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَمُ قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
 يَا فَاطِمَةُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكِ غَفَرَ اَللَّهُ لَهُ وَ أَلْحَقَهُ بِي حَيْثُ كُنْتُ مِنَ اَلْجَنَّةِ 
 
Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) from Fāṭimah (عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام) who said:

 The Messenger of Allāh  (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎) said to me- “O Fāṭimah! Whoever sends Salawat upon you, Allāh will forgive him, and join him to me wherever I am in Paradise.”  

 [Reference:  Mustadrak al-Wasail, volume 10, page 211]

صَلَّى الله عَلَيْكِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ الزَّهراء ( عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام  )
