Grief of Amir al-Mu'minin (alayhi salām)

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (alayhi salām)

 after secretly burying Fatima Zahra (Salam ul Allāh alayha)

‘O Prophet! the trust (Fatima) that you had bestowed me with has been returned to you, but my sorrow has become everlasting. I will spend my nights, sleepless until I too am united with you. Very soon your daughter will relate to you how the nation united to oppress us, and you may ask her (how this occurred) when a very short period of time had elapsed after your passing such that your remembrance had not even been forgotten ”

A humble request:

Please do pray for earliest restoration of Jannat al-Baqi; protection of Mausoleum of Sayyidah Zaynab bint ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (a.s.) and Sayyidah Ruqayyah/Sakina bint Hussain (a.s.)  & early re-appearance of Imam-E-Zamana (atfs).

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ وَالْعَنْ أَعْدَائَهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْن

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Umme Salama came to visit Fātima Zahra (Salam ul Allāh alayha)  and said,

“O daughter of the Prophet of Allāh! How did you begin the day with this illness of yours?”

Fātima Zahra (Salam ul Allāh alayha) replied,

 “I began the day seeing myself between two sorrows. My heart has turned into a cloth of blood due to the sorrow of separation from my father; and my heart is ablazed after witnessing the oppression meted out to the vicegerent of the Prophet of  Allāh. By  Allāh! They disrespected the holy presence of the Commander of the Faithful ‘Ali and he entered into the morning in a manner that the position of caliphate and Imamat was snatched away from him. They opposed the book of  Allāh and the traditions of the Prophet. The motive of their deviation is that their hearts were full of envy and enmity towards ‘Ali, for he had killed their men in the battles of Badr and Uhud. Thus they quelled the flames of rancour and envy by taking revenge upon ‘Ali by usurping his rights.

After the passing away of the Prophet, the arrows hit the target. The hidden and suppressed anger came to light and they arose to oppose us by aiding the seditious and slanderers. They made us the target of their revenge and at once they cut the rope of faith and severed the bow of faith with the arrow of (supposed) faith. They stumbled over the prophethood of the master of the Messengers and the guardianship of the Commander of the Faithful. After they had secured the interests of the charms of the world for themselves, they did not pay attention to the call of help from ‘Ali for he had killed their fathers in the battlefields.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ وَالْعَنْ أَعْدَائَهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْن

Yazid Ibn Abdulmalik (Nawfali) quoted his father, who quoted his grandfather as saying:

"Once, I entered the house of  Fātima Zahra (Salam ul Allāh alayha) who was the first to greet me; she then said:

`What brings you here?'

I said: "I have come in search of blessing."

Fātima Zahra (Salam ul Allāh alayha) then said:

 "My father (who was present) said: 'He who greets him or me for three consecutive days, will be granted Paradise by Allāh.'

I (Narrator) said: `While you are living?'

She (Salam ul Allāh alayha) answered: 'yes, and after we are dead.'"
