Cursing the Killers of Imam Husain [alayhi salām]

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

The first who cursed the killers of Husain bin Ali  (alayhi salām)  was Ibrahim  (alayhi salām), Friend of Allah. He ordered his children to curse them and took a covenant from them about it. After Ibrahim  (alayhi salām), Musa Ibne Imran (alayhi salām)  cursed the killers of Husain  (alayhi salām)  and ordered his Ummah to do so. Dawood (alayhi salām) also cursed them and ordered Bani Israel to do so. Then Isa (alayhi salām) cursed them and often used to say, “O Bani Israel! Curse the killers of Husain  (alayhi salām), and if you meet Husain  (alayhi salām) support him. Those who are martyred with  Husain (alayhi salām) are like those martyred with all the prophets who confronted their enemies and did not flee from them. It is as if I can see his place of martyrdom. There is no Prophet who has not visited Kerbala and stood there and said: “Indeed you are a blessed land. The luminous moon and the brilliant effulgence will be buried in you.”

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ وَالْعَنْ أَعْدَائَهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْن 

A humble request:

Please do pray for earliest restoration of Jannat al-Baqi; protection of Mausoleum of Sayyidah Zaynab bint ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (a.s.) and Sayyidah Ruqayyah/Sakina bint Hussain (a.s.)  & early re-appearance of Imam-E-Zamana (atfs).

 

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ وَالْعَنْ أَعْدَائَهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْن

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

 "When you go to the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)  ...when you are leaving the house...recite Surah Hamd, Surah Falaq, Surah Naas, Surah Tauhid, Surah Qadr, Ayatal Kursi, Surah Yasin and Verses 21 to 24 of Surah Hashr. Do not use scented oils or kohl until you reach Euphrates and speak and joke less. Glorify the Almighty Allah more and beware of quarrelling or being cheerful...

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

"I have come to know that some people go to the Ziyarat of Imām Husain (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) carrying different kinds of foods including sweet meats and other deserts. Indeed, if they had gone to visit the graves of their loved ones, they would not have done thus.".

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

 "When you go to the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain ( عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)...enter Nainawa and stay there. Do not use any scented oils or kohl and do not eat meat as long as you are there..."

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

  Imām Alī ibn Mūsā al-Rezā   (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)   said:

“I shall be murdered by poison as a victim of injustice, and I will be buried next to Harun. Allah will establish my grave as the place for visiting by my followers and those who love me. Whoever visits me in my loneliness, then visiting him on the Resurrection Day will become incumbent upon me. By Him who honored Muhammad  (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎) with the Prophetic mission and chose him over all his creatures, whichever one of you who says two units of prayers next to my tomb will deserve to be forgiven by Allah the Honored the Exalted on the Day (of Judgment) you meet Him. And by Him who honored us with the Divine Leadership mission after Muhammad   (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎)  and made us (the twelve Imams) especial by granting us the Testamentary Trustee mission, whoever visits my shrine will be of the noblest ones who reach Allah on the Resurrection Day. Allah the Highest keeps away the Fire from the corpse of any believer who visits me, hits himself on the face and sheds a tear.”

Deepest condolences to  Holy Prophet Mohammad (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎), Hazrat Fāṭimah (عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام),  Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), Ahl-e-Bait ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ), Imam-e-Zamana ( عَجَّلَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فَرَجَهُ الشَّرِيفُ) & all lovers of Ahl-e-Bait ( عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ)  on the Martydom Anniversary of  Imām Alī ibn Mūsā al-Rezā ( عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)

  Imām Alī ibn Mūsā al-Rezā (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

"In my lifetime there will be a man who will kill me with poison and bury me far from my native place. So whoever will come for my Ziyarat from his far off native land, will earn from Allāh Almighty the reward equal to the reward of 1,00,000 martyrs and 1,00,000 siddeeqs and 1,00,000 Haj and he will enter our group and will get admission to the high Heavenly status and be our companion in Jannat (Paradise)"

  Imām Alī ibn Mūsā al-Rezā   (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام)   said:

“Whoever remembers Our affliction, and cries for what was committed against Us, will be with Us in Our ranks on the Day of Judgement.

And the one who reminds others of Our affliction, and he cries and makes others cries, his eyes will not cry on the day that other eyes will be crying (i.e., one the day of Judgement).

And whoever sits in a gathering in which Our affairs/matters (Amr) are enlivened/revived, his heart will not die on the day the hearts die (i.e., on the day of Judgement.”

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq   (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

The land of the Kaaba once said in pride, “Who is like me, Allāh  has built His house on me, people from far come to me and I have been chosen as Allāh’s sanctuary?”

 Allāh revealed to it: Keep quiet and calm down! I swear by My Glory and Magnificence that your honor compared to the honor which I have granted to the land of Kerbala is like a drop of water on a needle dipped in the sea. If it was not for the dust of Kerbala, I would not have honored you. If it was not for that which is held within the land of Kerbala, I would have not created you nor would I have created the house about which you boasted. Therefore, settle down, calm down and become humbled, lowly, humiliated, disgraced and degraded before the land of Kerbala. Do not be proud or arrogant before it or I will make you sink and throw you in Hellfires.

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq   (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

‘There are three kinds of people to whom, on the Day of Judgment, Allāh will not speak. He will not purify them and for them there will be painful suffering.’ He said, ‘They are those who claim to be the Imām with Divine Authority and, in fact, are not so, those who reject the Imām who possesses Divine Authority and those who think that the ‘two’ had a share in Islam.’”

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

 عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ

مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ اَلْعَظِيمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، كَتَبَ اَللَّهُ لَهُ ثَلاَثَةَ آلاَفِ حَسَنَةٍ وَ مَحَا عَنْهُ ثَلاَثَةَ آلاَفِ سَيِّئَةٍ وَ رَفَعَ لَهُ ثَلاَثَةَ آلاَفِ دَرَجَةٍ وَ يَخْلُقُ مِنْهَا طَائِراً فِي اَلْجَنَّةِ يُسَبِّحُ وَ كَانَ أَجْرُ تَسْبِيحِهِ لَهُ.

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

  Whoever says: "Subhānallāhi wa bihamdih, Subhānallāhil-ʿAzīm wa bihamdih" (سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ اَلْعَظِيمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ), Allāh writes three thousand good deeds for him, erases three thousand bad deeds from his record, elevates his rank three thousand levels, and creates a bird in Paradise which glorifies Allāh, and the reward of that glorification will be credited to him.

Note: We recite these Zikr on behalf of our Master, Imam  Sahib al-Zamān (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), and dedicate the reward to the captives and martyrs of Karbalā.

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

:وَعَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ، قَالَ

مَنْ قَالَ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ: "لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ، ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ"، أَعَاذَهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ مِنَ ٱلْفَقْرِ، وَآنَسَ وَحْشَتَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ، وَٱسْتَجْلَبَ ٱلْغِنَى، وَٱسْتَقْرَعَ بَابَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ.

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) said:

“One who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah al-malikul h’aqqul mubeen ( لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ، ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ )  a hundred times, the Almighty Allāh will end his poverty, terror of grave and make him independent and he will knock on the door of Paradise.”
