Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

“Ali (alayhi salām)’s love is such virtue that no evil can harm. His hatred is such evil that no virtue will be of benefit.”

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

"When Allāh (Subhānahu wa ta'alā)) created the Heavens and the Earth, He called on them and they responded, He presented my Prophethood and the Wilayat (Unconditional, Unlimited Authority) of Ali bin Abi Taleb (AS) to them, both of which they accepted. Then Allāh (Subhānahu wa ta'alā)) created the creatures and entrusted the religious affairs to us. Therefore, the happy ones are those who are happy with us, and the unhappy ones are those who are unhappy with us. We permit that which Allāh (Subhānahu wa ta'alā)) has made Halal (Lawful) and prohibit that which Allāh (Subhānahu wa ta'alā)) has deemed Haraan (Unlawful)"

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

The first from the heavens who made Amir al-Mu'minin (alayhi salām) as his brother was Israfeel (alayhi salām). Then Jibrael (alayhi salām) made Moula Ali (alayhi salām) his Brother. The first who loved Moula Ali (alayhi salām) was the Arsh. Then the angels of jannah. Then the angel of death. The angel of death is kind to the lovers of Moula Ali (asws) the way He is kind to the prophets (as).”

Sama bin Mahran narrates, “I asked

 Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) regarding this ayah, 

“Be faithful to your promise with Me and I will fulfill My promise with you” (2:40), Imam (alayhi salām) said, “That promise of Allāh is Wilayat e Ali (alayhi salām). It is wajib upon you from Allāh .Fulfill it and Allāh will fulfill His promise of jannah with you.”

“Allah has created angels from the light of ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib's face. All they do is praise and sanctify the Lord, the Thawab (reward) of which they dedicate to those who love  ‘Alī  and to those who love his sons.”

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

"Knowledge is divided in five parts. Four of those parts are given to ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib and the last part is shared among all people. I swear to  Allāh , who sent me as a Prophet, that  ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib   is more knowledgeable than all people, even in relation to the one part (of knowledge) that is given to them".

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Jabir Abdullah al-Ansari reports that one day he was with the

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam)

when he turned his face towards  ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib  (alayhi salām) and said:  

“O Aba al-Hasan! Do you want me to give you glad tidings?” ‘Alī (alayhi salām) said: “Yes, O Prophet of Allāh!” The Prophet continued:

“ Allāh - may His Majesty be Exalted - informed me through Gabriel that He granted nine things to your followers and lovers.

They will have:

1- gentle treatment at the time of death,

2- a companion at times of fear,

3- light at times of darkness,

4- security at the time of Resurrection,

5- justice at the time of Reckoning,

6- permission to pass through the bridge (to Heaven),

7- entry to Heaven before other people,

8- with the light (of their faith) shining in front of them and

9- on their right side.”

"The first inhabitants of the heavens to take  ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib  (alayhi salām) as a brother, were Israfil, then Mikaeel, and then Jibraeel. The first ones to love him were the carriers of the Throne, then Rezwan, the keeper of Paradise, and then the angel of death. The angel of death is as merciful to those who love ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (alayhi salām) as he is to the prophets."

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

"Whoever fasts on the first three days of Sha’ban, and wakes up at nights and says two units of prayers and in each unit he recites the Opening Chapter once and ‘Surah Tawheed’ eleven times, Allāh the Sublime would fend off the evils of the people of the heavens and the earth, the evils of Satan and his troops, and the evils of all oppressive kings from him. I swear by Him who rightfully appointed me to the Prophethood that Allāh would forgive seventy-thousand major sins that are between him and God the Honorable the Exalted, and would fend off the torture of the grave, the departure of the soul from the body, and its hardships."

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā  (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎) said:

“Surely, Allāh the High has made for my brother Ali Ibn Abi Talib  (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) excellences that cannot be counted due to their excessive numbers.

So, whoever recites an excellence from his excellences while accepting them as well, Allāh will forgive for him his past and future sins;

And whoever writes an excellence from his excellences, the angels will incessantly seek forgiveness for him till a copy of this writing remains;

And whoever hears an excellence from his excellences, Allāh will forgive those of his sins that he has committed with his ears;

And whoever looks at the writing of his excellences, Allāh will forgive him sins which he has committed with his eyes.”

Thereafter, he  (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎)  declared,

“Looking at Ali Ibn Abi Talib (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) is worship and Allāh will not accept the faith of a person except through his mastership and dissociation from his enemies.”
