Short Dua for 16th Day of Ramzān al-Mubarak 1439 A.H

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

 

REWARD FOR 16TH DAY OF FASTING

Holy Prophet Muhammad  al Mustafā (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) said:

"...For sixteenth day, Allāh would grant you sixty dresses when you are resurrected. You would be made to mount a camel and a cloud of Mercy would protect you from the hot sun of that day..."

"It is narrated from  Imām al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) that a person came to him and expressed his wish. He was about to complain of his starvation when Imam (alayhi salām)  asked him, 

“Do you offer Salaat-e-Shab?” He said, “Yes.” 

 Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad  al-Sādiq (alayhi salām) 

 turned to him and said, 

“He is a liar that claims to offer Salaat-e-Shab and says that he has to starve during the day, because the Almighty Allah has guaranteed the sustenance of the day in the Salaat-e-Shab.”

Dua for Sixteenth Day of Ramzan al-Mubarak

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Allaahumma Waffiqnee Feehi Li-Muwaafaqatil Abraar Wa Jaannibnee Feehi Muraafaqatal Ashraar Wa Aawinee Feehi Bi-Rah’matika Ilaa Daaril Qaraar Bi-Ilaahiyatika Yaa Ilaahal A’alameen

O Allah, on this day, grant me compatability with the good, keep me away from patching up with the evil, lead me in it, by Your mercy, to the permanent abode, by Your Godship, O the God of the worlds.

 Recite 2 Rak-a’t Namaaz 

 In 1st  Rak-a’t, 

Soorah Al Faatih’ah - 1Time & any other Soorah

 In 2nd  Rak-a’t,

After Namaaz,

Soorah Al Faatih’ah - 1Time & 

 Soorah Al Ikhlaas  -100 times

La Ilaaha Illallah- 

100 times
