Thanks and a Sound related question

Thanks for creating this software jaffaman! It works really well.

The only problem I have is converting the audio to a format that the
Topfield will play. So far I've just tried converting mp4 files
through a program called "Super" to TS format video which works like a
charm. There are a few different options for audio (ACC, AC3, MP2 and
something else). The only one that kind of works is MP2 but the sound
stutters when playing on the topfield (7100). It plays OK on the PC so
the problem has to relate to what audio formats the topfield can
actually play. Do you have any info on this? Should I be using
different software to convert my video formats? Will I have this kind
of problem with other formats or is it because I'm converting from
mp4?

Lots of questions I know. If you can't answer them I'd just like to
know what your experience is with uploading video to the topfield.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the thanks - it was both fun and challenging putting it all
together. MP2 is really the only sound format that will usually work.
Yes, I think MP4 may be contributing here, but so will the converter.
Another to try that seems to have worked for some input types is one
called Quick Media Converter - it seems to take most inputs and has a
TS output - I have had some success http://www.cocoonsoftware.com but
its not guaranteed. Another I have used is Any Video Converter - it
also works OK mostly. http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

One of the things I need to get around to is trying out a few
different programs and making recommendations on what works well and
what doesn't.

All I can suggest is trying out one or both of these and see how it
goes - if you have success let me know and we can post about it for
others.
