The first version of MakeInfo is now up and ready for use. Download
the zip and extract it.

It needs the .net runtime 2.0 or later to run - if you don't have it,
it is available from Microsoft as the .net redistributable.

To use, start the program, select an mpg, ts, rec etc file, and enter
the required values. When you have all the values in, press the "write
files" button and this will create the .info and .nav (as selected).

The rest should be self explanatory. You can see the .info being built
as you edit values. Hope it works for you - I haven't done extensive
testing yet, but so far has worked everytime for me.

Sorry - it requires the .net runtime 3.5 SP1 (available from
Microsoft). The MakeInfo file has the .exe which should run if you
have the framework installed. The setup zip has a setup program which
should automate the download of the required stuff, but I haven't been
able to properly test it.

MakeInfo 2 released. Changes:

1. Support for Topfield 5000 .rec files. If the program detects a
Topfield .rec header in the input file (be it .mpg, .rec or .ts) then
it will read it and offer to load all the required parameters
automatically. If you let it do this, you shouldn't need to make any
other changes, just write files and you are done.
2. If the input file is not a .mpg it will offer to rename it to .mpg
when you write the files.
3. Addition of a radio button for audio track type to switch between
dolby and mpeg values (0x81 and 0x3).
