I have literally tried 25+ different fixes at this point, and I am * done. Zero word from Dice on this * that I paid so much money to play test for them apparently. What a waste of time, life and money. Not bothering with this crap game anymore. This is not fixable, do not waste hours and days on your life on this, it wont happen. The game is trash.
installed halo infinite on my windows 10 1909, game works just fine. i see no reason sacrificing my time just to update to windows 11 which may not even guarantee fixing my battlefield 2042 (besides, I keep getting 0x8007001f errors everytime I try to update my win10 to 20H2).
Being that the EA STAFF is blatantly ignoring this thread. I tried to open up a ticket through the OFFICIAL EA.COM WEBSITE. Guess what happens when you select the BF2042 game and then try to submit a bug (see attached pic), they recommend I connect with them, but give ZERO OPTIONS TO DO SO! GREAT JOB EA! You have successfully blocked your customers from submitting reports on the problems we are encountering. What a crock of ****. I've never been through such a terrible experience trying to get help for a game.
