This struggle is a reality for our Shia Afghan refugee families in the DC metropolitan area, as they strive to adapt to their new home, America. With our 'The 1000 Backpacks Campaign', we aim to bridge this gap, guided by Imam Ali's (AS) wisdom, "Knowledge is life and the means of survival," and "People are of two kinds, either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity." Each contribution, big or small, will directly furnish these eager minds with vital school supplies, fostering their growth and integration.
