Hello.

If I understand correctly, it seems that bias adjustment mode can be controlled through a direct connection with an actual event camera, but the bias in files logged as .aedat files cannot be adjusted. Is this correct?

If I want to change the threshold or exposure time, would it be correct to use v2e?

Thank you

Thanks for asking Jay. The bias values are just written to the top of
the AEDAT file in ASCII as a record of the values for experiments, so
that the conditions can be recreated for reproducibility. You obviously
cannot change the brightness change threshold after the recording...

v2e is for simulating what a DVS might produce. There you can change
parameters any way you like, even if they are not physically realizable
in a real camera. A common mistake is to set the threshold very small
and not increase pixel to pixel threshold variation or refractory
period. Then you can produce fake events that no real DVS can achieve.
