I released jaer-2.5.0. It has the new feature of Sliding Window rendering, the joins Fade rendering. Both of these let you see sparse events more clearly by extending the effective lifetime of rendered events.  Access these rendering options via the View menu or keyboard shortcuts ctl-p (toggle Fade), ctl-shift-p (toggle Sliding Window). Control the lifetime in these modes with UP and DOWN arrow keys and go back to default rendering mode to control the contrast of each event with UP and DOWN.
