Sensor recommendation

Hi,

My research group wants to acquire a new sensor. We would like to stick with jAER as we have developed quite some code there. Would someone recommend us sensors that will be supported on the long run in jAER?

The DAVIS346 should work fine on jAER, though hasn't been tested by us
in some time.
The DVXplorer line does not have support in jAER to my knowledge.

That is correct, we use and maintain Davis346 in jAER all the time. We
have not tried yet to support DVExplorer in jAER and it would be great
to have that (but not simple, since the bias API and readout data
structure very different and we do not access to the low level specs as
far as I know).
