Pod Evicted - Reg

Hi Team,

I have kept the logs at  /var/ogs/ingester.log(with empty volume)  inside the container (pod) and forwarded them to centralize server. But when the log size occupied more than 20Gi(ephemeral storage limit is 20Gi) pod is evicted. Can we reduce the log size or can we use the PVC and log rotation? Can anyone suggest solving the issue?

Hi Team, 

We have store the jaeger components logs into Elasticsearch using filebeat. But log size is average for day is 130Gi. How can i reduce the log size. But jaeger-span index size average is 30Gi only.
