Hi,

1. Propagation format compatibility:
* Some Jaeger tracers (java, go) support B3 propagation format. Which means it is possible to join traces with other Zipkin (B3) instrumented services.

2. Sending data from Jaeger tracers to Zipkin:
* Java tracer supports sending data to Zipkin collector.

3. Sending data from Zipkin tracers to Jaeger backed:
Does anybody know if any of instrumentation libraries from http://zipkin.io/pages/existing_instrumentations.html can be used with Jaeger backed? These libs usually support HTTP transport with thrift//JSON encoding. IIRC there is no HTTP collector for Zipkin spans in Jaeger's agent or collector.

(If I missed something add it please)

This is mostly accurate. Go client can also send to Zipkin backend.

We recently added an HTTP handler to collector that accepts Jaeger.thrift format, adding zipkin.thrift is fairly trivial, since we already have the conversion code. And it can be tested endtoend.
