India just crossed a red line. Going around its official stance of calling for a ceasefire, and abandoning decades of policy recognizing the rights of Palestinians, the Indian government has seemingly permitted the export of lethal weapons to Israel. This is in addition to permitting the supply of Adani-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Israel earlier.
Indian-origin weapons are raining down on Gaza. People of Indian origin in the US have a voice that can reach Narendra Modi. We must use it now.

From the start of his prime ministership, Narendra Modi has repeatedly called Indian Americans “India’s brand ambassadors.” As ambassadors, we condemn India's complicity in the Gaza genocide. We say in one voice: Enough is enough. We refuse to be party to these horrors, the mark of which will forever stain the pages of history. The Indian Government must crack down on arms exports to Israel immediately.
In our action, we join the many people in India who have condemned the war in Gaza, including Indian port workers who refused to load weapons onto ships headed to Israel. We join the many brave Indian American student activists and valedictorians from universities all over the US who have stood up to condemn this genocide.
