Mission: Comprehensive and wholesome education [Islamic + Contemporary] thorough a madarsa-cum-school and a vocational training centre for Muslim girls – one madarsa in every district of Bihar and Jharkhand
Location: Rahimabad Village in Samastipur + Bauram village, in Darbhanga
Why girls only? There is no girls-only residential educational institute for Muslim girls. Existing schools and madarsas provide education to boys only, or to boys and girls, both. Girls must be educated, as they form the core of our society's culture. Mother's lap is not just the first school for each one of us, it also leaves its permanent impression on our personality. Illiteracy among women may be the main reason for the degradation of our culture and our value system. We send our daughters and sisters to another family, as an ambassador of our culture. It's like exporting our culture to another household. What should we export? The values do not get inculcated in a day, and we are responsible for the habits of our girls. If our upbringing and education can make them true ambassadors of Islam, jannah will become easily accessible to us. On the other hand, if our upbringing and education take them in the opposite direction, we would be the source of destruction for our society. The choice is ours! That's why they say, "teach a boy and you teach only a man; teach a girl and you teach an entire family".
Guiding Values: Madarsas should become the focal point of education, not just deeni, but every type of education. We believe that deen being the way of life, deeni education cannot leave any type of education for others. This is the only way to regain the leadership in educational sector, and make our contribution to the mission of bringing back socio-economic and political leadership back to Islam.
Our leader, Prophet Mohammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam, and his companions, didn't segregate education into compartments like "deeni" and "asri" etc. They led congregational prayers as Imams, participated in wars, in business, and in every aspect of life, along with imparting religious knowledge to the world. All learning took place under one banner of Islam. The day we removed most faculties of education from our teaching system, we initiated the beginning of decline for the Ummah. Let's turn that back, now, and make the madrasas the focal point of education, once again. Schools that we launch must be imparting religious education as well, and madaris we launch must impart every other stream of education.
Dr Rajendra Prasad, the reformist leader Raja Rammohan Roy and noted writer Munshi Premchand were Madrasa products - Why can't we produce nobel prize winners from Madrasas?
