JACT FINAL HOLIDAY MEETING SPECTACULAR!

[Japanese Animation Club of Tallahassee]

Greetings JACT,

This Saturday, December 8th, we will have this weekly meeting at SSB 203 from 7:00-10:00 PM for our annual Holiday Party! The feature this week will be K-ON!: The Movie! and our regulars: the finale to Binbougami-ga! and episode 13 of Heroman! Please show up early so you don't get lost and remember! This meeting also marks the beginning of JACT selling Ramune, Hello Panda, Pocky! If you would like to buy some of these delicious goods, please bring money! We will be selling raffle tickets for one dollar too  in case you are feeling lucky and want to try to get these yummy treats for a lower price!

JACT Holiday Party!

This Saturday's Meeting also marks JACT's Annual Holiday Party! This party is a potluck, so if you would like to eat, please bring something edible or utensils so that everyone can enjoy your's and other's dishes! Please post what you would like to bring on the Jact Meeting Event Page so we don't have too many of one item or dish!

Also, this meeting we will be be participating in White Elephant! If you would like to participate and receive a gift from one of your fellow JACT members, please bring a wrapped present between 3-10 dollars!

Mix Meeting Event: Princess Mononoke!

This Friday, December 7th, we will be watching the Studio Ghibli classic: Princess Mononoke at Mixed Theater A starting at 7:00 PM! Please, show up early so we can start on time and in case you are not sure where exactly the theater is; we will be standing outside so you can see us. If you would like directions to the Mixed Theater, please ask on the Facebook Event Page!

Plot Summary: While fighting to save his village from the attack of a demon-god, Ashitaka comes in contact with it and is inflicted with a deadly curse. In his search for a cure he is forced to leave his village forever and journey to the forest inhabited by animal gods. There he finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and a village led by Lady Eboshi.

Plot Summary: After passing their university entrance exam, Yui and co. started to discuss a variety of things they wanted to do before they graduate, including doing something for Azusa. In the process, they managed to go to London as a club for their graduation trip.

Binbougami-ga!

Plot Summary:  Pretty, busty rich girl Sakura Ichiko has been blessed with an inordinate amount of good fortune, so much so that she's actually sucking the fortune from those around her. To correct that massive imbalance, Momiji, a God of Misfortune, has come to Earth to "treat" Sakura—only Sakura isn't so willing to cooperate. As part of an ongoing effort to remedy the problem, Momiji starts living with Sakura.

Heroman

Plot Summary: An American kid named Joey lives in an urban city & has always wanted to become a hero. Unfortunately he's just an orphan working part time to support his grandma and himself. After he watched a toy commercial on a new robot action figure, Joey believe he'll gain strength if he obtains one. The only robot toy he can get his hands on is a broken one that was abandon by a rich school bully. Feeling pity for the trashed action figure, Joey took it home to repair it. Little did he know, that once he repairs the toy, it'll make his hero dream become a reality.
