Greetings JACT,
This Saturday, December 1st, we will have this weekly meeting at Union 311B from 7:00-10:00 PM. The feature this week will be episodes 1-3 of Medaka Box and episode 12 of our regulars: Binbougami-ga!, Heroman, and the finale for Puella Magi Madoka Magica! Please show up early so you don't get lost and remember! This meeting also marks the beginning of JACT selling Ramune, Hello Panda, Pocky! If you would like to buy some of these delicious goods, please bring money! We will be selling raffle tickets for one dollar too in case you are feeling lucky and want to try to get these yummy treats for a lower price!
JACT goes to MegaCon!:
This Saturday during the meeting, we will discuss about MegaCon coming up in the Spring and "Early Bird Specials" on Hotels. If you are still wondering if you would like to go, this is a perfect time to learn more about MegaCon and what we do while attending it! It's a lot of fun!

Medaka Box
Plot Summary: Medaka Kurokami, a first year student at Hakoniwa Academy, excels at everything she does. She becomes the Student council president and along with her childhood friend, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, she plans to solve all of the student body's problems that are submitted to a suggestion box, dubbed the "Medaka Box."

Binbougami-ga!
Plot Summary: Pretty, busty rich girl Sakura Ichiko has been blessed with an inordinate amount of good fortune, so much so that she's actually sucking the fortune from those around her. To correct that massive imbalance, Momiji, a God of Misfortune, has come to Earth to "treat" Sakura—only Sakura isn't so willing to cooperate. As part of an ongoing effort to remedy the problem, Momiji starts living with Sakura.
Heroman
Plot Summary: An American kid named Joey lives in an urban city & has always wanted to become a hero. Unfortunately he's just an orphan working part time to support his grandma and himself. After he watched a toy commercial on a new robot action figure, Joey believe he'll gain strength if he obtains one. The only robot toy he can get his hands on is a broken one that was abandon by a rich school bully. Feeling pity for the trashed action figure, Joey took it home to repair it. Little did he know, that once he repairs the toy, it'll make his hero dream become a reality.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Plot Summary: After experiencing a bizarre dream, Madoka Kaname, a kind 14-year-old girl, encounters a magical creature named Kyube. Madoka and her friend Sayaka Miki are offered the opportunity of gaining magical powers if they agree to make a contract with the strange little being. He will also grant them one wish, but in exchange they shall risk their lives by accepting the responsibility of fighting witches. Invisible to human eyes, witches are catalysts of despair in the areas they inhabit. An ally of Kyube, a magical girl named Mami Tomoe, befriends and encourages the two girls to accept the contract. For an unknown reason, another magical girl named Homura Akemi is determined to prevent Madoka from accepting the deal.
