Greetings JACT,
This Saturday, Feburary 2nd, we will have this weekly meeting at Union Room 311B from 7:00-10:00 PM! The feature this week will be Great Teacher Onizuka and episode 3 of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Control: The Money and Soul of Possibility, and Nichijou! Please show up early so you don't get lost and remember! Also, JACT sells Ramune, Hello Panda, Pocky! If you would like to buy some of these delicious goods, please bring money! We will be selling raffle tickets for one dollar too in case you are feeling lucky and want to try to get these yummy treats for a lower price!

Great Teacher Onizuka
Plot Summary: Onizuka is an ex-biker and gang leader who has one goal, to become the greatest teacher. He learns of the power and respect possible as an intern teacher, using his strength and connections to get his students to respect him. Now, graduated, he gets a job at a prestigious private school to handle their 'problem class' that made the past few teachers quit. He must handle a different sort of trouble when the trouble makers include some of the smartest kids in Japan who prefer a more cerebral approach to torturing their teacher. Onizuka must slowly win his students over and deal with their mistrust of teachers while handling the distrust of his fellow teachers.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
Plot Summary: High school freshman Yūta Togashi was once a "chūnibyō patient" i.e. an overly self-conscious middle schooler. He wants to bury this embarrassing past and begins a new life in high school—unsuccessfully. His classmate Rikka Takanashi, a "current" chūnibyō patient, has found traces of residual symptoms on him and used the fact to force Togashi "making a contract" with her.

Plot Summary: The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved, and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant. Kimimaro is a scholarship student whose only dream is to avoid all this and live a stable life as a civil servant. One day, however, he meets a man who offers him the chance to make money fast. From then on Kimimaro is drawn into a mysterious realm known as "The Financial District," where people engage in supernatural battles for the possibility of money.
Nichijou
Plot Summary: The ordinary life of the peculiar students from class 1-Q and their odd acquaintances. While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. The setting is a strange school where you may see the principal wrestle a deer or a robot's arm hide a rollcake. However there are still normal stories, like making a card castle or taking a test you didn't study for.
