Dear Colleagues:
(Sorry if this is a duplicate. I am using multiple lists.)
There are two new postings of interest at www.foraristotelians.info:
· A significantly revised and updated version of Yves R. Simon on the Problem of Thing and Object. In 15 pages, Simon covers the basics of the thing/object problem. I strongly recommend this as an introduction to modern Aristotelian epistemology---and as essential reading for those who, understandably, didn't see why Maritain said that thing/object is the crux of the problem of realism and the most important problem in philosophy quoad nos (essence/existence is the most important intrinsically).
· A Graduate Student's Guide to Modern Aristotelian Philosophy: The Essential Readings in Speculative Philosophy. 2 pages. I choose works by nonliving authors in which the primary approach was philosophical as opposed to historical and interpretive.
To access either of these, click on Virtual Anthology of Modern Aristotelian Philosophy.
Thanks very much.
