The Department of History at Assumption College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Medieval European History, subspecialty open, to begin August 2013. The successful candidate will be a committed teacher scholar who can offer courses in the area of specialty, include the area of medieval church history, teach introductory Western Civilization or World History surveys, and actively participate in the College's interdisciplinary program in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. PhD required by Fall 2013.
