DESALES UNIVERSITY, Department of Philosophy and Theology, invites
applications for an Assistant Professor of Catholic Philosophy to
begin Fall, 2009. Although this is a non-tenure position, the
successful applicant can take advantage of our generous long-term
contracts with the possibility of conversion to a tenure track
position in the distant future. We seek someone who is rooted in the
Catholic intellectual tradition, enjoys teaching undergraduates, and
is respectful of the Catholic and Salesian mission of the university.
A Ph.D. and college teaching experience preferred. Duties include
teaching four courses per semester and committee work. Women and
